Alacient Privacy Notice

Alacient respects your privacy. This site collects only the information needed to understand site activity, respond to inquiries, deliver requested communications, and improve our services.

1. Cookies and Visitor Tracking

We use a small number of first-party cookies:

  • alc_consent — stores whether you granted or denied analytics consent. Retained for 180 days.
  • alc_vid — stores a random visitor ID used to recognize return visits. Retained for 180 days.

These cookies are set with SameSite=Lax and Secure protections. We do not store your IP address. IP addresses may be used temporarily in memory for rate limiting and abuse prevention, but they are not written to our database.

For each pageview, we may collect:

  • Visitor ID
  • Page path visited
  • Referrer
  • Timestamp

We deliberately exclude query strings from page tracking.

2. Consent

For visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK, we only set tracking cookies or send analytics events after you explicitly accept.

For visitors outside those regions, we may rely on implied consent through a dismissible notice. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an opt-out.

3. Linking Browsing Activity to Submissions

If you grant consent and later submit a contact form or newsletter signup, your visitor ID may be attached to that submission. This means your prior browsing activity on our site may become associated with your name, email address, and contact record.

We use this information internally to better understand your interests, respond appropriately, and maintain a contact-level journey in our CRM.

4. Forms, Notifications, and Internal Alerts

When you submit a form, the information you provide may be used to:

  • Respond to your inquiry
  • Send requested communications
  • Notify appropriate Alacient staff
  • Create or update a contact record in our CRM
  • Trigger internal alerts when returning visitors engage with the site

We do not sell personal information.

5. Third Parties and Processors

This site uses the following service providers:

  • Cloudflare Turnstile — spam and abuse prevention on forms.
  • Supabase — hosting and database services.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

These providers process data on our behalf to operate the website and related communications.

6. Retention

Visitor activity and related cookies are retained for approximately 180 days. We run purge processes to remove expired tracking data.

7. Your Choices

You can decline cookies, dismiss tracking where available, use Global Privacy Control, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with you.

8. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Authenticated email protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • Secure hosting environments with firewall and CDN protection
  • Minimal data retention and access controls

9. Changes to This Notice

We may update this notice to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
